Hi DB2 User,

IBM just published a draft version of a new Redbook, "DB2 10 for z/OS Technical Overview, SG24-7892-00":

Abstract
IBM continues to invest in new features of DB2 for z/OS to make businesses more efficient. DB2 10 delivers great value in this area by achieving up to 10% out-of-the-box CPU savings for traditional workloads and up to 20% out-of-the-box CPU savings for non-traditional workloads, depending on the environments. Synergy with other IBM System z platform components reduces CPU use by leveraging the latest processor improvements and z/OS enhancements. Productivity improvements are provided by new functions available for XML, data warehousing, and traditional on-line TP applications.
We document in this book what is important to prepare DB2 users for the acceptance and exploitation of the new functions. The goal is to highlight the major new functions, document installation requirements, and migration considerations.
